In the past, our support group has fulfilled requests to void documents in ITrack Enterprise. In the interest of helping our users meet GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), we now recommend users create correcting documents instead.
Correcting documents create a “paper trail” for accounting staff. This helps them more easily trace discrepancies and report values to investors. Occasionally a company will choose to void a document. In those cases, this should be done internally by company-designated users with the necessary permissions.
Our support team will gladly show your administrators how set those permissions, and walk the designated user through the process of properly voiding documents.
